I so can't wait for the weekend..... christmas specials, final fantasy XI (complete with ALL the expansions... early christmas pressie from max), and just lazing about i guess.
But is anyone else finding that it just doesn't feel like christmas this year... or at least that the actual christmas spirit is seriously lacking and coming in way too late? Monday morning i put up my lights, and since then i've been getting everything else done. I finished my shopping this morning with a visit to walmart for a stocking for max and stuff to fill it with. He's not into christmas at all but i'm still playing santa.
Normally i'm all about christmas.... done all shopping by the middle of november, done all wrapping by december 2nd, lights up early, baking done, and tree up weeks ago. I put up my tree last night after i got my newest ornament in the mail.
crazy fact: as of monday there were 14000 (!!!!) undelivered packages in the city due to the shortage of mail carriers.
and today i'm spending my day off baking (truffles, cookies, and pie) and hoping that kevin doesn't want to work on boxing day... if he choses to, then i have to work boxing day, even though he will be the only person there..... ugh.
So everyone, I wish you all a very merry non-denominational winter season! Hope it's wonderful.
