this weekend was AWESOME! We were soooo spoiled. But alas, it is over and we are back to life as usual. The only negative thing that happened all weekend, was when my mom told me we shouldn't be proud of ourselves for having been married a year, and that a year, is not a big accomplishment. Can we say BITCH? Yes. Bitch. But other than that it was fucking awesome!
This week I am job hunting. UGH. I have like 8 apps all filled out and ready to turn in, I'll most likely do that tomorrow. *heres hoping I find something half way decent*
I saw a CRAZY car accident yesterday. There was, what looked like it WAS. a new mustang. But the entire front end looked like someone had slapped it off to the side. And a truch, an older one, probably a 70's ford work truck, with like, zero damage. It took us forever to figure out what the mustang hit, since the only things nearby were light poles and that truck. Upon closer examination, we fianlly saw the dent in the truck.
Last night we had a nice ass dinner at black angus(mmmmmm steak), followed by going to see the Hitchhikers guide. I thought they did the book justice. It was funny, and it was neat to see the way they changed certain things, and just the differences from what I imagined in my mind, to what they actually did in the movie. Like, I totally imagined Marvin as red, and more humanoid. And I did NOT expect the heart of gold to be round and white. I also wasn't expecting Deep Thought to like like it did. But it was still a highly entertaining movie. And they covered a lot in two hours. Though I would LOVE to see the original (low budget) english version of HHG. Apparently that one follorws the book more closely.
