So last week was awesome (if a bit uncomfortable) ending in a pretty crazy weekend. Normally in class I get partnered up with some of the other guys in class for one reason or another. (the "popular" guys or girls of the "in" crowd usually snag up each other rather quickly and always work in the same clique groups... I'd swear it's Highschool 2.0 except for some reason this time around I didn't get that invitation to the cool club or whatever) But last week... the instructor picked everyones partners, and she may have been teasing me or just testing my skills as a professional but for whatever reason she paired me with all females, which I thought was no big deal at first... The first day of Technique class I was paired with my friend... uhm for HIPPA reasons we'll call her Jenny...(who is gorgeous btw... columbian tanned skin, fierce brown eyes, smokin curves, you get the picture but in case you don't there's a pic of her in my photos- the one behind the bar gettin a dollar for wearin such a nice top...) anyways I'm doing my physical exam on her to diagnose some low back pain she has been having and can't decide if her pain is from her pelvic instability or a sacral issue so I ask our instructor to lend some advice (secretly hoping it's pelvic cuz I was a tad nervous about how "friendly" the adjustment is for the sacrum). The Dr. takes a look at "Jenny" and decides it's both... yay... so I scold "Jenny" for being such a typically complicated female (our instructor is also female and gave me some mean looks at this time). So Dr. ... uhm.. will call her Dr. L. anyways she advised me to fix the sacrum and see if that helps with the pelvic instability... man wish I didn't see that coming... so now I'm sweating beads cuz I know I'll have my hands all over "jenny's" rear end for the next 4-5 min while trying to properly relocate her wayward sacrum... So I bring her over to the Hylo (a chiropractic table that raises up high and slowly lowers the patient, imaginative name I know) I get her settled face down and have her move into the proper position for the adjustment. Fiddle with the table settings for what seemed like 10 min (prolly 30 seconds at most) and then advise her like I would a total stranger who's rear I was just about to touch in an innocent manner that might seem awkward to most. She of course takes this moment as a great opportunity to make me more nervous and blush since Dr. L is right infront of me ready to critique... "I think you need to grab my butt a little more" Jenny says.... I try really hard not to laugh, she and I are good friends and drunken groping has prolly been part of our past a number of times it's just different infront of a class full of students with the professor right there watching. Dr. L. interrupted thankfully pointing out that my set up was great and to go ahead and adjust. It went awesome, Jenny's Low back pain was almost completely eliminated and didn't return like it usually does when others have fixed it in the past... her normal Dr. never tried to adjust her sacrum he usually addressed her instability issues and sent her on her way... so YAY me...
ok woops... I totally typed forever there so I'll continue tomorrow maybe... man I gotta work on being less "wordy"
