I went down to the Crux Fermentation Project tonight with some family and extra people I don't know. I had a bizzare grilled cheese sandwich with bread and butter pickles (not my favorite) in it and two tasty beers. The first one was Crux's Better Off Red, a barrel aged Red Ale that, had it been a little drier, could have been mistaken for a cider. About halfway in, I was wishing for something different as the dryness was getting on my nerves a little. The second (pictured) beer is their Tough Love Imperial Stout, barrel aged and was dispensed via a little nitro acceleration, which gave it that super creamy finish. Wonderful taste, get some if Crux is available where you live.
