So one thing that is really lacking in Rocksmith is the teaching scales and exercises. So I found some short videos that are pretty clear (compared to others I've looked at), at how to start with some Pentatonic scales, and also finger exercises. After about 30 minutes, the constant stretching to hit the 6th string (it's must be called "E" because when I try to stretch my pinky to the 4th fret from where my 1st finger is on the low E, I pretty much scream EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! and high E is much easier...so "e" for easier I guess) oh, where was I? Oh yeah, my left arm is a bit sore from all the stretching. So yeah...arm pain. And that was tonight's practice. The scales and exercises still sound like shit, but they are less shitty than they were when I started. Need a little break, might as well watch this week's Orphan Black.
Again, curse my fucking Trump hands.
