I've been bouncing back and forth between feeling like a big bucket of hell and feeling like a heaping dumpster of shit. At first I thought that a dip in Hamilton's lovely air quality (par for the course in the summer months) had something to do with my sore throat, but now I just generally feel unwell.
I rarely get sick. As such, when I do get sick, I get disproportionately cranky. So glad I've had the last two days of no Starbucks shifts so I can recover and feel sorry for myself (in roughly that order). This is what I get for bragging about my immune system, which is pretty much an even split of white blood cells and awesome.
Too bad feeling like this also crushes my motivation to do any other work. Hence the blog. I'm filing today under the heading "Total Writeoff". I've made some phone calls, shot some trouble*, done some writing and brainstorming on the idea™, and that's going to have to suffice. My needle on my give-a-crap meter is somewhere between 0 and -25.
I think 3 paragraphs of self pity is plenty, so on to better things. I was going to write a little commentary on the slow-motion train wreck that is The Fox and Fiddle pub at Limeridge Mall, but I also think I've about pegged my negativity quota, too.
So... uh... Something fun? Here's a bunch of cool ads... Some of the coolest I've seen in forever, I'd say.
*my attempt at conjugating the term troubleshooting into the past tense.

Your behaviour while sick reminds me of myself, especially the part about being very cranky. Hope that you feel better soon!
It's funny you mention the photo essays...I'm talking to BRS about them right now. Ha.
