Advice please.
My computer keeps dying on me.
I'll be right in the middle of doing something and it goes completely black and all the lights shut off. When I turn it back on it says it has to do a disk check.
I brought it to a computer man who said it was dusty and did whatever he did to get the dust out. But it's happening all the time! I know its not dust, and it's not an over-heating issue.
I'll be lucky if i can get this blog posted before it shuts down again.
Whats going on? What can I do?
Someone help me save my baby!
THANK YOU!

Hello. Have you solved your computer issue? Without knowing all the details... I had a really similar thing happen to me (well, my Mums computer). Everything pointed to power problems/overheating etc. Took the whole sodding thing to bits, fresh install, still knackered. It turned out one of my ram chips was damaged. Maybe buy a new stick or two? VERY cheap option nowadays. You could try that...
