Here's to Spring: a warm fire, good friends, and fine tobacco. It was hot enough to sweat in North Carolina yesterday. Even the chubby rebels could not resist our bayonets and were forced to run. Time to put a finer edge on the diet and exercise. Soon, sun dresses and bare arms will return and all will be well.

Being filmed for History Channel and PBS made me slightly jaded, but my IMAX premier is next weekend. Not sure how I stumbled into this sideline. It's easier to hire actors who come with their own wardrobe. As a bonus I got to wear the Governor of Maryland's Major Generals uniform--by far the nicest coat I've ever worn.

The hell with pasta and beer. I'm amazed how much better I feel. Granted, the keto flu sucked, but coffee with butter in it makes my brain feel like a razor.
