I've been bouncing today.
I bounce one way, I bounce the other, I bounce diagonal: I'm Connect 4 in bounce terms.
Much like a Tigger, in fact.
Why the bouncing?
Because it's Spring, I've decided. I'm always reluctant to declare it Spring before the end of February, because February will inevitably strike back late, like a cold version of Liverpool FC, or the icy bastard, Black Frost.
But anyway, I can now stand out in my garden in a t-shirt and see things starting to flower. And my fish are starting to shake off the Winter dementia, albeit still a bit confused by the loss of their matriarch.
And the biggest sign: today on the coast we had a day with weather so capricious that it managed to encapsulate all four seasons. It rained overnight, it was gloriously sunny in the morning, it went windy and gray at lunchtime, and then the wind disappeared and it started to piss down again. A proper Spring's day!
Who knows, I might even be able to go on some training rides soon without the risk of freezing to death!
