I had the most ridiculous badminton fixture last night. All three of my matches went to three sets, which meant I was on court (continuously) for a grand total of 150 minutes.
Unfortunately I was lumbered with slightly aged playing partners in each match, so I had a lot of work to do also!
In the third match, we were taking on this guy who obviously had taken a severe dislike to my partner, and was being generally abusive all night. I was pissed, and we were 13-7 down, so I really stepped it up, and dashed my guts out trying to win. Somehow, we managed to come back to win 17-15, after which I collapsed, and didn't stop shivering for two hours afterwards. But it was worth it to shut that geezer up!
One more mini-essay and one more visit to campus, and that's another Uni term done and dusted! Jurassic Park!
