So a lot of things have happened this week. However, even though there was too much to post, I will give everyone the condensed version of it.
First, and foremost: I GRADUATED!!! HOLY SHIT!!
So I am a high schooler no more, and here's proof!! (with special guest, my favorite lady Morgan!)

The graduation ceremony was amazing. One of my favorite teachers came back from her new job working for charter schools in Massachusetts to be the keynote speaker. Her speech was incredible (I was quite moved), and at one point she made some comment about efficiency, and I said quietly "oh, talk dirty to me. yeah!" The student speakers were kind of interesting. For instance, one student who this year I worked with in Creative Writing class (who is an amazing poet) decided to distance himself from the student class as much as possible by coming up with the most pretentious lines and quotes he could come up with. Another decided to take a much smaller route and relate senior year to a webgame she used to play on the Disney website as a kid (wtf?!).
Eventually the pretentious kid stopped talking, and it was my friend John and I's turn to take the stage and perform for graduation!! We decided to play "Burn This City" by Cartel since that was the only song that he and I knew together, and we fucking NAILED IT. In every practice before we were missing words and he was missing cues from time to time, but we completely finished it spot on. It was incredible, because afterwards all these people in my class (and at some instances, their parents) were coming up to me going "that was so great!!" "wow!! that was the best thing ever!!" or my favorite (which came from my kickass, James Brown-listening, tweed-wearing African Studies teacher) "man Angus, that was the highlight of my day. I really mean it."

Apparently I am a pirate when performing. Who knew?
Anyway, my parents still haven't bought me the MacBook that they promised for graduation, and here I am incredibly sad and without a laptop for my several-week long roadtrip, so that sucks.
But hey!! Happiness!! There's MUCH more of it!! Happiness abound!!
Friday night I took Morgan to her first Valient Thorr show, and she freaked out!! It was so great. They played about five or six of their new songs, and of course the best old ones. Sadly though, the aftermath of what I call "the Thorrgasm" finally hit me today, and my entire back is seriously strained.
But the best thing ever is that my parents and grandparents love Morgan just as much as I love her, and I'm so happy to be with her here in Maryland. Even though I'll be leaving tomorrow, it rules that we've been able to spend almost a week together, and it blows my mind that we'll be able to celebrate our one-month anniversary (I know, I know, one-month, you've probably been dating a girl for longer. Well, I love her, so shut it. ha) in NYC at the motherfucking WESTIN!!!
*man swoon*
My life is going so well right now, and I am really, really happy that I can share it with Morgan. But I will stop now, because if I start I won't be able to stop.
