Despite an endless downpour, things are looking up. You find ways of categorizing different emotions, registering them as they come along, and then filing them away in the right folder and shutting the drawer until you have time to deal with them. School takes precedence over moping around, when it has to, and when it doesn't, I mope around. And the rest of the time I'm out on the town, remembering how good it is to laugh 'till your face hurts and drink 'till your head hurts and watch morning light creep cloudily over the peaked rooftops in the gentle, constant rain.
People talk about evenings being romantic, but I've always thought there's something pretty sensual about morning light.

Seeing a treehouse like that was a dream... staying in it?! Gah! I can't even explain. At first, walking up the tree branch staircase makes you sooooo nervous. But it's totally worth it! There's even a sink, a counter, dresser and an actual bed (with bug netting) built up there!
It's at a friend's property out in Squamish, BC. He owns a few acres and has some other really cool projects going on. I think the guy's original idea was to build the treehouse so he had a bright place to mount his solar panels and a dry place for the batteries to go. (he's using only solar and generator power...You can see the back of the solar panels in one of the pictures I posted)
Anyways... geeky treehouse talk. hah.
