I'm glad I could spark some discussion, though sorry (not really) to offend any patriotic Americans. I suppose I'm patriotic too though; I'm deeply committed to reforming our lovely country to the best of its abilitites, which I believe are nearly boundless. So much wealth and power, beautiful and fertile land, tourism, industry, diversity, top-rate educational institutions, medical facilities, research projects, etc! So why be content with keeping these assets available to only a small minority? It's not socialism just because you expand access; though I do personally support socialism, I don't think the term should be thrown around lightly when it's not appropriate. If Obama was a socialist I'd be thrilled but he's not. He's making all sorts of apologies for even bringing up the public option of health care, which is a meager, non-government funded option to begin with. What do you folks think on that?
In the meantime, I'll leave you with a photo from the roadtrip that I'm still on. Neverending. This is an incredible waterfall in Alberta, Canada. Take care!![](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/ph-508.604ed20cffa9.gif)
