The primaries are today in Washington; I want to caucus. I think politics should always involve a good shouting session, and the crossing of actual, physical space, casting your vote by moving from one side of a large and crowded room to the other, pondering your decision as you move across meters, and coming to stand symbolically with like minded individuals.
Maybe we should decide everything through caucuses. The grading process, for example, could be all shouting matches and room-crossing. Or the boundaries of a relationship, or who you will end up with when there are a few faces on the table. I am just tired, overall, of quiet, solitary and angsty decision making, and could use a bit of ruckus. Not individual angry ruckus, but a big hearty public affair.
Ahhh. I will go out and seek such a situation.
(Kitties like ruckus.)
