Monday night changed my life forever. It was my 5th time seeing Metallica live, 2nd time at the O2 arena in London. Doors opened at 18.30pm But determind to get to the front row we arrived at 15.00pm 
I drove up with my best friend and parents, we had standing tickets and my parents had seating ones.
After arriving my parents went and did there own thing, me and my best mate (richard) walked round for a bit, brought water, and choclate to keep us going as there was no time for a meal lol. We found where we had to que up, only about 8 people already there so we decided to picth up and sit it out, for 2 and a half hours haha!!

The 2 and half hour wait was well worth it, we got into the arena and there it was, a center metallica stage and KNOWONE AT THE FRONT YET! Ever since i have been into metallica, watching there live dvd cunning stunts seeing how amazing it would be to be that close to metallica, to be at a front row at a metallica gig, its something iv wanted for over 10 years and something that was a life time ambition. And there i was at the front fucking row!!

First band up, The Sword, i love this band to death, amazing riffs, the sound wasnt great but i guess first band up and still setting up etc couldnt be helped but was great to see these live, Second band on was MACHINE FUCKING HEAD, this was twice in seeing these and my good are this band intense on stage, so much energy.Where i was standing they had all of machine heads guitars right in front of me, with there guitar tech working right next to me, as a guitar player myself, this was so intresting to see
Then was the Mighty Metallica!! Fuck me! lol. Being at the front had its down falls, having 300 poeple behind you all pushing in your direction, poeple trying to pull you out the way to get to the front! but i stood my ground! knowone was taking this away from me!
Tallica opened up with two songs from Death Magnetic, and with there amazing light show off lasers, and also 10ft flames, it could only take your breath away. The way they set the stage up there was a microphone right in front of me so i got so much metallica action!! Having the lead singer James hetfeild, my hero and idol singing less than just an arms lentgh away will stay with me till my dieing day.
Metallica played for just over 2 hours, playing through old stuff, new stuff, rare stuff. I know it sounds stupid but i had 3 out of the 4 members of metallica look straight at me, and even tho im just another face in the crowd this made my life lol. Best day/night of my life. I didnt take any more pictures while Metallica was playing as i was to involved in the show lol but my parents did:
