i start working tomorrow! yes!!! first day working at a real, on-the-books job since i was 16. (just as a reference point, i'll be 19 in less than a month. so it's been a while.) i've worked odd jobs around people's houses, shoveled TONS of snow, sold half my possessions (many of which seem to have migrated back to me over the years, not entirely sure how), made more craft-related items than i can count, but it'll be nice to have a guranteed income again. i launched my etsy shop a couple months ago, but i'm taking it back down because i haven't made any sales yet and it's costing me money just to keep it open. (money which i currently don't have.) so, after many years of life spent relying on everyone else around me for financial support, i'm finally taking a step in the right direction and starting to help myself. i know i pretty much have my first paycheck spent, but after that i'm saving up fore driver's ed and car insurance. my hope is that in a few months, i'll be able to blog about my experiences shopping for my first car (which my saint of a mother is donating $1000 towards). wish me luck guys!
