so, as promised (and sorry for the delay), here is my blog of geekdom...BAND geekdom! yes, i was a marching band geek all 4 years of high school (and a tuba line nerd for 3) and i loved every second of it. so in the spirit of the pride of berea marching band, i've decided to post all the youtube videos i could track down in honor of their upcoming varsity show and rivalry (and last) game this week. i have a lot of friends from band who are seniors this year, so i gotta support them which means i'll be going to both. but for those of you who have probably never heard of our band, i urge you to take a look at least at the varsity show highlights before you judge. we're not your typical boring marching band who walks around in straight lines, we DANCE for almost every song we play. freshman year we did the thriller dance, but the videos have all been removed for copyright reasons. however, since i've had a request, and i have the dvds of every season, i'm going to make an attempt to upload that sometime this week! in the meantime, feast your eyes on this, i gurantee you won't be disappointed!

i won't blame you if you cut thru the playing to get to the dance breaks, most people do! our band has been the reason our football stands are always packed for years and years and years now. our football team is easily the worst in the league, but every week our games are packed...til after halftime! once the band is done, it really clears out. hmm, wonder why that is?

i know, i'm a dork. but i miss those days so much!
