Well Xmass has been survived. The highlights/lowlights:

The low:
Fighting with my exgirlfriend every day. Why cant we just get along? I swear it used to be so easy, but I guess if it was still easy, she wouldnt be my ex.

When I read out the name of my cousins present and everyone thought it was for his recently passed dad (they have the same name). A moment of very sad silence under the tree.

Realizing today one year ago was the last time I saw my Uncle Duncan for more than a few minutes. He came to the Grandparents Boxing Day Party.

Knowing this is the last time that we will have xmass at the Grandparents farm. They are selling it in the spring. Lots of lasts. Last Xmass morning, last breakfast coffee with grandad at the kitchen table, last chat with grandmother in her room. Last night in the bed I grew up in.

Highlights:
Going to see a band with my younger cousins. The band Sirsy is great (Check out their website), but more importantly I felt like we bonded. I dont know what happened, but they grew up and they are really cool. And because I am the older cousin they think I am cool too (yeah I know I fooled em)
