I don't really have much to say today. I just wanted to add another post because it is not 3/11 anymore, and I have stopped listening to them as well. Not forever. I'm just not listening to ONLY them.
That's kind of what I've been doing for the past couple of months. The radio in my car will play MP3/Data CDs. So what I've been doing is putting a band's entire catalog on one CD and dedicating myself to only that band for however long it takes. I've been through Radiohead, The Beatles and U2, just to name a few. U2 is a band that I just recently got into over the past year. A good friend of mine asked if I wanted to see them at Soldier Field last summer. And like any sane person, I said hell yes when are we going?!?! But to better prepare myself so I wouldn't be bored, I listened to their whole catalog. They are a fucking awesome ass band. I will say that I like pre-Joshua Tree a little bit more. Not to say I don't like anything after Joshua Tree, it's just a different style. But they are an amazing band and it's no wonder they are so popular. We had awesome 'seats' too. Right in front of the stage. They all walked past us throughout the show and were less than ten feet away.
But the show I'm really excited for, or should I say shows, is Radiohead. I have seen them a bunch of times. Let me try and name. Rosemont Theatre was my first...it was fucking amazing. My first real concert on their OK Computer tour. Saw them in Huthinson Field in Chicago, Cuyahoga Falls, Alpine Valley, the Auditorium Theatre...I think that's it. Now I will add Tinley Park to the list and revisit Cuyahoga Falls. I love being old, too. It means I don't mind paying a lot more for better seats instead of scrounging up my money for lawn seats.
I am also going to another concert this summer, Roger Waters @ Wrigley Field. It's awesome, too, because the dates are as follows June 6 Radiohead Cuyahoga, June 8 Roger Waters, June 10 Radiohead Tinley Park. So pumped. Needless to say, I'm requesting a bunch of days off. Just thinking about it, I might go to Cleveland a few days earlier and check out the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame again. That would be fun.
Well, I doubt anybody reads this, but it's nice to talk about shit that nobody I talk to in person really cares about lol I'm sure they care, but I'm one of those people that assumes everything I have to say is unwanted or not cared for. I'm not some negative grumpy loser, I'm just very self aware of what people like, and that is themselves. So I usually turn the tables and just let people talk about themselves. I guess everyone is not like that considering I am not.
On a different note, I'm very happy for this site. I love all these girls and I love how every girl is shot. I love the fact that a girl doesn't need tattoos either to be here. However, I do find tattoos on a girl very sexy. I don't have any tattoos out of respect for my Dad. I've done pretty much everything else he's banned me from doing so I might as well give him that one. But I will get a Radiohead bear one of these days, or at least the stick figures shaking hands on OK Computer. But then I look at this site and all the girls have awesome tats and it's not like they have bands. It looks like a lot have original artwork, and to me, that's real art. I think a tat SHOULD be art. Your body should be a blank canvas for whatever you are going to get, not a billboard for your favorite band. However, I do love that band more than any other. Well, them and The Beatles but yeah, they aren't exactly touring anymore. But did you see Sir Paul at the Grammy's rocking out Abbey Road? Fuckin awesome
Ok well I need to get ready for work now. If anybody reads my blogs let me know. I suppose I'll keep writing either way, though lol
