Oh and I should add that February 12th is our 8th Year Anniversary.....
UPDATED 04 February 2009:
Stuff I recently watched (don't worry I don't give plots away):
Twilight
Expected it to be really really bad but was mildly surprised by how "romancey" it was. I swear if I was a decade younger I would probably be head over heels in love with the movie and swooning over the male lead.
The Fall
A beautiful colourful movie starring the guy from the Pushing Daisies series which I love. Like the series the movie contains a dash of children's magic in it although with a serious mature underlying feel to it. Like a "tale" movie as Big Fish was.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Was not as mesmerising a tale as I had expected, did make me cry a bit towards the end though. I just had too high expectations before seeing it I guess.
Speed Racer
Wow they outdid themselves on the special effects, loved all the bright colours and super exaggerated futuristic styling. Bet Ricci dieted big time for this movie....
Werewolf TV series (from 1987)
A series with special effects that actually didn't look that bad considering the time of its execution. I noticed how all the old people in it from episode to episode acted waaay better than their youthful counterparts. I think back in the 80's (and probably 70's too) "bad" acting was the "in" method, like it was a fad to act in a certain way for film and/or television.
two sci-fi-ish french films....
Eden Log
I think this was french, the people had a french accent but spoke english. Interesting future based movie (I think) of humans being used to cultivate energy or something... was interesting...
Dante 01
Event horizon meets the prison life of Alien2. Some great cinematography.
