So... a new year is always a splendid time of year. Say what you will of cliches and such, but I'm grateful to be alive and have the chance to taste what the future brings to me. I'm grateful for today and the chance to live it.
That being said I'm still contemplating a certain resolution to begin training for a marathon. As you know, I'm on the road to quit smoking (despite a brief setback on New Years Eve). On top of that, I have a serious desire to bring my body back into the shape that it used to be and the way it can be.
My job (office) lends to a very sedentary life so I have to make a conscious effort to give my body the exercise it needs.
But lemme tell ya, I used to run regularly but nothing ever close to a marathon. They tell me though, even little ol' amateur me can do it if I train slowly and consistently. It still scares me!
Q: Which is most important? Faith, hope, or love?
Word of the day (dedicated to 37): gesticulate (v.) - to make gestures especially when speaking.
