So it was SUPPOSED to be treat-my-lady-like-a-queen-night but she already had food prepared by the time I got home. However, I will make it up to her with Voltaires stuffed acorn squash recipe. It sounds dee-lish!
SGLA party tomorrow should be fun and a chance to meet many of these folk for the first time. I will not fall asleep or pass out as Ive seen photographic evidence of what becomes of these people. Fools!
Im sure many of you know its been raining in Los Angeles the past two days and what a wonderful change its been. Usually, our sunny days roll into more unremarkable sunny days that nothing could be more refreshing than this steady downpour. Stepping outside I smell cleanliness in this city that is too often marred by filth. Now the rain has abated and morphed into damp, enveloping fog and mist. The grime is washed away from walls and windows and streets and gutters. Tonight may be a good time to photograph the garish neon signs of the L.A.
Listening to: Les Sans Culottes! (Ill get it to ya somehow Linz)
Something ya didnt know about me: The first two instruments I learned to play were the piano and then the clarinet. Not exactly sexy. At least the clarinet part.
PS: I dont care if Im plagiarizing 35mms closing idea because its just damn cool. Props to 35mm.
PPS: For anybody who wanted to read more of the story of my grandfather, I hope to have the next portion up by Monday. If you're curious, you can read the original entry from 11/1.
PPPS: If you like bizzare art, check out this site. I'll give a prize to whoever can figure this one out: http://cmart.design.ru/
