Okay, it has been far far too long since I was on here, and I plan on rectifying the situation right about...now. I've been simultaneously really busy and really lazy as of late, which I know doesn't make sense but meh. I've settled in to my new flat in Glasgow very nicely, and I'm still loving the whole no commuting/no trying to find a place to crash after gigs thing. Honestly, it's a tiny thing but it's fucking wonderful to me. I still have no phone line or internet, as BT continue to put me on hold for an hour on a daily basis. Trust me, I will get it sorted out though.
The new course is slightly intense. Apparently, the first module is the worst due to the fact that it is heaviest on the theory, which makes sense really given that we'll need this stuff for the rest of the course. It doesn't really excuse the fact that our lecturer expected us to do work which he set for our lunch breaks, but I think we're done & dusted with him, so all is good. I've been making good progress on the coursework so far as well, so shit could be worse.
On the gig front, I caught Michael Gira with The Boredoms a few weeks ago, which quite frankly was mindblowing. I'll try and sort some photos out for you good people but if you ever get the chance, go and check them out, you won't regret it. Also saw Alabama Thunderpussy with Firebird, and I must say that ATP were the weaker of the two. Ah well, can't win 'em all. Off to see Envy tonight as well. Woot!
Not much else at the moment. Thought I'd leave you with some cool artwork to help y'all forgive me for vanishing for so long.

I hope you're all well and I'll try and get back to y'all personally as soon as. Til then, love & hugs

and yeah - that Blut aus Nord record absolutely blew my mind when i heard it - it was a few years back, and it's sent me reeling in many directions as a result. i still like their albums after that one too, but it's really their masterpiece. i call it "Black Hole Metal".
