Muahahahaha! I return! Yeah, despite a colossal lack of sleep, I have returned from London and Neurosis a happy and slightly hyper man. It was a pretty awesome weekend, and a strange one also. Firstly, the Londoners set a new record: I was in London for only 20-30 minutes before someone tried to sell me some weed (I regretfully turned him down as I am poor). Secondly, the V&A and Science museums are pretty funky, and even better when you consider that entry is free.
The gig itself was kind of intriguing: a combination of awesome visual effects, almost tribal music, sleep deprivation, hunger and pain made the show that little bit more memorable, and made my grip on reality that bit more elusive. On a similar note, I discovered that if I travel alone for long periods of time, my brain begins to operate in very strange ways. Probably not healthy, but fun nonetheless. I am kind of scatterbrained at the best of times though.
Oh well, I think that's me done with London for a little while. Next up, Tool and Mastodon on Saturday!
One final thing: thanks, everyone, for your patience with me. You all rock and I have nothing but love and good wishes for you
