I gots myself a job. In fact it looks like I'll have all kinds of work. I'm going to take a fulltime position at a post-production house and be an assistant/junior editor. The house is super cool and has a kick ass vibe. Plus there are six other places that are going to put me in their freelance pool when I move to town. Most of these places do commercials and some have TV shows and promotional campaigns. Bottom line is that I'll be able to make a good living doing what I want to.
I also found out that b/c I'm in media any media I consume is tax deductable as research. So movies, DVDs, CDs, Books, Magazines, video games, computers, Cable, DSL, etc... How kick ass is that?
I'll be flying back to Madison later tonight and I have to spend all day tomorrow shooting a film project.
And lastly, I'll be interviewing Ted Leo at his show in Chicago on Tuesday for my radio station WSUM.
