So I had a "Jeff Moment" today. A Jeff moment happens when you're doing something intentionally to make a woman feel like shit for doing something that pissed you off. Even if it's not 100% your fault and you just sort of realize what you're doing, while you are doing it, you're still guilty. Anyone who has either dated Jeff or been around him long enough has seen things like this go on, and you've either felt uncomfortable OR bitch-slapped him and told him to stop it or Jen really will kill him in his sleep.
I had band-practice today, and Katie showed up to play keyboard while we worked on a new song. I discovered half-way through our original from last semester that I was almost singing from her point of view. It's a song about love-lost, and that the other person should just move on because the singer obviously has. She was paying great attention, and i've never sang that sincerely to or for anything. We then worked on the song she was in and everything clicked overall and i was very pleased. Then we went through poor side of town and I nearly broke down. I'm confused as to why I feel so overwhelmingly drawn to this girl that i can't have anymore. I'm singing the song and (again) i'm more into it than ever before, so much so that i've closed my eyes and really feeling it. she and i had a conversation when i drove her back to her apartment after practice (i was driving my drummer back and she lives a block or two away) that really didn't help either of us feel better.
I had a Jeff moment, and it wasn't pleasent.

Just show her that you can palm a medecine ball, and take her out in your ice cream truck covered in human skulls.
