It's been a while since I've written. Totally immersed in the season. Just got my new computer and I will set it up after this entry. I'm looking forward to the time w/ my folks tomorrow. They just got back from 3 weeks in Italy and have many stories to tell. They also got me a black leather jacket so I can't wait to see...

I'm not a fan of Everclear but I was at their show tonite. Was in the front catching bodies as they came over the barrier. Pretty cool. The last song they played they invited the fans to dance w/ them onstage. So there was a rush of crowd surfers. It wasn't surfing it was a waterfall of people. The security dudes did most of the...

In Buddhism, there is no such thing as "waste."
The people that we know at present and with whom we are creating bonds with, Our friends that we have contact with at present, All are people with whom we share a profound (karmic) bond that lasts throughout the three existences of past, present and future.

I only did Tai Chi (chuan) for a very short time (like one month). I also did Kajukenbo (a style of Kung Fu) for about 3 months, but that's all I've really done with Martial Arts. I really love MA and I hope that I can find the time and money to start going again. As for Taoism, I've read the Tao Te Ching several times, and enjoy it on a regular occasion, but I wouldn't consider myself a Taoist. My name is actually Swahili... it means 'rare traveler'.

I sent off your invite to the SGPDX gig, so if you didn't get it, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you there!
