I was using this journal to both leave a journal and write an email to some YMD LEADERS in the Zone and the National YMD Leader for my Buddhist group. See there was a ZONE level teleconfernce tonight. Kicking off the beginning of this year. It was awesome.
NOW I'm totaly afraid of putting mas effort into this journal to have it disapper. WELL I"ll just do it
So, I've gotten actual proof that this Year is going to be unbelievable. One would probably guess, yea well of course, our ZONE (pacific nw) is ahead of the game as far as YMD UNITY Itai Doshin. YES!!
Well, you also might guess that a new YMD, Tim, joined yesterday and we enshrined his Gohonzon during the mtg tonite and had all the youth in attendance listen and participate in the mtg. YES!!! more actual proof.
And yes, he lives about a 4 minute walk from my apartment!!! Even more unbelievable. And he plays guitar!!! YPG!!!!The more obvious, It's Sensai's Birthday!!!
That is totally auspicious! but the underlying aspect of my actual proof is the biggest thing of all.
I've reached 2 years sobriety today!!!2 years ago tomorrow i went to the judge to get my sentencing for my 2nd DUI. I met the court appointed attorney and looked dressed up in a suit and had some (all that i could muster) dignity in myself and maybe a bit of pride 'n respect. What the attorney didn't know was that 2 nights ago I had gotten my 3rd DUI. I woke in that morning in jail...>TODAY!!!
That was instant Sobriety. I was taken in front of the judge and begged him to let me out w/out a bail so i could go to my other court case the next day. Needless to say he did let me go. And I kept that vital info to myself in front of that judge tomorrow....2 years ago.So, he sent me to jail for 8 days and when i got out i had reached that place. That place that Toda & Makaguchi must have felt. I immediately moved into a sober living home and scored a job at NIKE. With some family connections. Few months later after I was done w/ treatment I moved to NW PDX. NO AA mtgs. They say you are "powerless over..." That's BS. Your powerless over NOTHING!!!
Then I came around the Buddhist Community Center.
Hendoku Iyaku-turning poison into medicine!!Changing that which can destroy you into your biggest benefit. Your most wonderous eternal gift. A cold Hard Shot Of KARMA 
So here I am!!! Starting another new year. With a awesome leadership team and a bunch of awesome YMD around me to work with and we support each other as if we've been doing this for Aeons. I'm flabbergasted at this form of actual proof.
I feel so confident and have much conviction in the validity of this Buddhist Practice's ability to totally erradicate negative Karma. NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-KYO NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-KYO NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-KYO
Destroy the really really bad stuff. All this madness going on in the world... it suddenly seems absolutely changeable. I have 100% FAITH AND CONFIDENCE that we can end suffering. End the EVIL NEGATIVE HUMAN KARMA that we all share and have influence on!!!! So, let's make this year one that we will truly remember. Make this year a land mark year where a clear tide of change has occured and is visable to all people. We have the power to make tidal waves of PEACE and HUMAN HAPPINESS.
LET's Do it BROTHERS.

incidently, we will be having a BSG 2hr. TOZO Sunday Jan. 5th at the portland community center.10-12pm then talking about the General Director's Trip to OREGON!!!!
