why is it that everyone who covers Hallelujah always leaves off the last verse? thats the best part of the song, man!

on a whim today, i listened to about every version of it i could find. several of them i was already familiar with but its covered by so many fucking artists that theres dozens ive never heard of. it really says something for the song that not only is the original brilliant but theres many good versions of it. how many songs can you say that about?

ya know, it's interesting that I like rufus wainwright now, cuz the first thing I ever heard him do was a cover of this, and it made me hate him. Now I kinda dig it.
