The Dicks over at Time (read: Richard Corliss and Richard Shickel) have released a ridiculous article attempting to categorize the top 100 movies of all time. While it's an interesting list, it's an impossible feat as no one could ever possibly come up with a definitive list of great movies. To cut them some slack, they do state that this list is not to be considered absolute, but rather to promote discussion. While this is a great idea, I'm pretty sure debating great movies is not a pastime that is threatened with extinction. I might also add that Time has not had the best track record with listing their opinions of greatness recently (see their Person of the Year) so the opinions in said article should be taken with a grain of salt.
Anyway, check it out here...

kind of like BL (www. bluelight.nu) is doing "movie drafts right now and whoever ends up with the "best" movies wins *rolls eyes" and rolling stone comes up with the 500 greatest songs of all time - it's all kind of bullshit and very subjective, in my humble opinion
