I think I've fixed a sound problem that was driving me nuts. Whenever I played music with a lot of low end crunch I was getting some nasty distortion. Now this wasn't noticeable unless I was listening to metal. I thought I'd broken my audio interface but no. Mongface here had iTunes set up for manual EQ with a +12db boost across the board! Once the signal had gone through my soundcard, mixer and amp it wasn't worth listening to.
