i feel like if your friend hasnt come to grips with the whole man/woman differences thing yet, she's gonna have a really hard time starting now. but it really is as simple as he loves her and is attracted to her at both weights. i myself have a range of weights i'm attracted to (as does everyone) and if she was in it before and now, there wouldnt be a major response because our minds are just going "...mmmm..."
