...and as i'm looking for a safe alternative to purchase MP3s via the internet for a price less expensive than the alternative...i finally stumbled upon lala.com sometime back in january of this new year...paid 8 bucks for the Broadcast and the Focus Group's "Investigate Witch Cult..." album, versus 99 cents per track from the monster monopoly competitor...
...COME ON! we're talking about a 23 track album of tunes that are short by the fragment of a second when it comes to minutes...would have been a whole lot cheaper just to order the disc from amazon (because this is NOT a TALENT you can find at yer local wal-mart or best buy, kiddies)...
...HA! and lala.com deserved every penny they made from my wallet...as it was the only download site where the user could actually hear each song in it's entirety before wasting a hard-earned buck on slop...and i discovered a lot of good shit from them like the Atlas Sound and Julian Plenti...
...UGHHH! AS OF MAY 31ST...LALA.COM IS SADLY CLOSING THEIR DOORS...THANKS TO I-TUNES BEING JEALOUS OF A MUSIC DOWNLOAD SITE THAT FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT...
