BLACK-OUTS, HUMOR, AND THE CLASH...
...AND THIS LATEST BLACK-OUT FAZE FROM HURRICANE IKE HAS LED TO SOME CLOSER TIDES BETWEEN ME AND A COUPLE OF FRIENDS TRYING TO FIND "ELECTRIC" SHELTER...and went almost 24 hours myself...just about went insane without my computer, not that I've been blogging a whole lot. Due to certain legal stipulations...have to keep my mouth shut...AND...did you know that you can become a felon for simply asking a sheriff to blow your brains out?
...ANYWHO...the Clash seems to really make sense to me these days...police brutality and things...once thought that all those guys and gals locked up behind bars did some serious crimes like killed someone, raped a doll or a couch, touched little kids, robbed their neighbor, committed credit card fraud, endangered someone, got naked in public, attempted arsenal, beat their wives or their kids, got into a fight. NOT SO!!! All ya have to do is lose your mind one night, threaten to hurt yourself or have somebody else do it for you and all of the sudden you are a criminal...
...ANYHOW, my friend T is always here like my mother to keep me straight...she and her girlfriend invite me over for a cook-out and darts on Sunday while the electricity is out at my place. Was supposed to be "strip darts," but everyone kept their clothes on (i think)...
...ANYWAYS...T and her girlfriend are both left without electricity on Monday and Tuesday...T comes over on Tuesday to do some laundry...give her the keys to my place while i gots to go to work. Even invite her to bring her dog that always tends to scare my cats. She's a well trusted source and all...tell her that she's more than welcome to the shower, food in the fridge and staying the night if she wants. And everything was well in place when i arrived home after work...all doors were shut and locked like i told her...cats seemed to be fed...all lights were off...
...the bathroom was different...a new bar of soap and a fresh towel...she even managed to keep the ceiling fan on in my bedroom...
...at least this girl isn't hiding anything...she took full advantage of my place just like i asked her to.
