Okay, so I'm definitely hooked on Dan Brown! Angels and Demons actually grabbed me a bit faster than The DaVinci Code and that booked hooked me early. I could gush about this author for real! I also bought Holy Blood, Holy Grail which is mentioned in DaVinci and I knew that the authors of that book were suing him and so I picked it up and that's the next one I'm going to read. I'm so glad to have reading back in my life. I love to read and lately haven't really had time to do it but now, I'm making time for it and it's making me much happier.
We went and signed all the papers for the house yesterday and OMG it's easily the most exciting thing going on here! I had to go to the bank and get the cashier's check for the down payment and, holy crap that was the biggest check I've ever held in my hand. I was shaking like a leaf and felt like I was going to throw up a bit. Then, the kids were like "let's go to Burger King to eat" Uhmmmm I can go through the drive-thru but I'm not taking this thing ANYWHERE but home. Then, I just wanted to throw it at the lady in the mortgage office to get it out of my hand lol. They gave us a George Forman grill in red which is nice since we're going to be using a lot of red in our kitchen! But that's the most expensive George Foreman grill EVER lol.
On the way home from signing the papers, I was behind a lady with a sticker on her window about "Party Gals" and I called her up right away and I"m scheduling a "naughty" party in May with her while my mom is here so that she can see me and my friends get all crazy and buy some toys lol. She'll have fun there too lol. I can't wait til my mom comes. She's going to help make the curtains for the new house and help me do some painting. The kids are excited about picking out new colors etc. And so am I!
In other news, I'm looking for a job. I'm really tired of staying home. I was only going to stay home until Emily started kindergarten but then Elijah showed up and changed that plan so I'm really going crazy. *litterally and figuratively"* Hubby has a line on a job. Wish me luck and hopefully, I'll get it and be feeling a little more sane.
That's all for now. ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) and a couple of
