Yay for the zoo! It was really really awesome. I got a bit sunburned but it was so worth it. The only thing that sucked is that we didn't have all the time we needed. We're definitely going to have to make a trip out of it on a weekend sometime with the whole family. I actually really liked taking pix of the flowers and plants. They have some BEAUTIFUL vegetation there. I go to the San Diego Zoo and was more interested in the plants lol. We went on the "behind the scenes" tour and we were sooooo close to the giraffes. It was amazing! They looked so docile and they have to best eyes ever with these LOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG eyelashes. I've never really paid much attention to a giraffe before but they really are beautiful. The tour guide was right up there holding Australian Accacia branches and they were all just eating them right out of her hand and she was petting one of them. It was really amazing. My daughter was sad because the tigers were hiding a bit when we came around. But, when we were on the bus tour she got to see them really well and that made everything all better lol. It's so easy to spend tons of money in that place. I'll try to figure out the camera dock today so I can upload pix of the trip but don't count on it soon. I woke up with a bad headache this morning. Partly because I was woke up by the phone but mostly because I spent the whole day outside yesterday in the sun. Now, today, it's feerlessfreddy's turn. He left this morning with some friends to Anaheim for the Angels v. Yankees game. I'm not even sure what time the game is on much less what time it's over so I'm not expecting him home anytime soon today. I don't have to worry about the kids and all tonight though. If they want to stay up, they're more than welcome too because tomorrow.......NO SCHOOL it's spring break. I'm looking forward to not having to fight with them in the morning to get ready for school. It's been harder since we moved into the apartment because we have to leave a lot earlier now. It's going to suck HUGE when we move into the newhouse though because we'll be so far from the school that we'll have to leave even earlier. "Why not send them to a new school" you might ask? Well, I'll tell you, I don't know the school they'll be going to and the school they're at now, the teachers are so amazing that I don't want to take them out of the classes. Especially not this late in the school year. And, with all the moves and stuff I don't want to change everything on them right now. This way, they don't have to make new friends at school right now on top of in the neighborhood. And, with that, I have to go because my headache isn't going away and my pills for it aren't working yet. Think happy thoughts! Hugs and a couple
