Well, the hike yesterday went worse than expected. It was meant for 13.9 miles ( I was mistaken when I said it was 15). Nonetheless, I tredded on for 10 miles then guess what????...wait for it... HEAT EXAUSTION. That's right, It started with heat cramps. No big deal, everyone has those on long hikes, then heat exaustion. Helt like I was going to pass out and my legs were shaking so damn bad it was like nothing I had felt before. I had to get evac'd to a hospital where IV's and ice was waiting for me. Not a proud moment but it happened. All I have to say is that it sucked and I never want to re-live the situation again.
What else? I'm writting this a day after it happened. Mainly because I wanted to rest up and recover. I'm still hurting a little bit and the blisters will take time to heal, but I still plan on runnning tomorrow. Going to take it easy but I still want to try and push it to running 7.5 miles instead of my regular 6.5 or 7. I need to shead my winter coat if I want to look good for the ladies this summer. That's all that's going on in my world.

You need to take care of yourself hun!
And since you're coming off of heat exhaustion and blisters I'd take it easy even on the running...but that's just me
I hope the rest of your weekend starts looking up a little bit.
