So, I have had this membership for over a month now and have been told by many people (including my SG addicted wife) so here goes.
A little about me
I spent 8 years of active duty in the US Army, half of that with the 101st Airborne Division (some of the best years of my life) and figured I had done my part so I got out. After a couple of years I realized that I missed the military but had a really good job in Houston, Texas so I joined the National Guard figuring that I would spend the next few years having fun and drinking beer. That was in August of 2001.
Last year called back to active duty and am currently deployed to Kosovo (that is in the former Yugoslavia region for all you dip shits who don't keep up with the news and for those of you who graduated in Alabama it is just to the upper right of the boot on that round blue thing in the library). I cant really talk about what I am doing but I can assure you that your tax dollars are being well spent by my squad.
When not deployed I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mudding with friends. I have what I used to think of as an unnatural attraction (until I saw SG) to tattoos, though I only have four now.
Though not quite as computer savvy as my wife, DancehallDreamer, I am obviously a patriot and somewhat of a smart ass. You can pretty much tell the rest by looking to your left.
Oh, and I just got back from an R&R in Greece and will post some about the trip when I am done talking to the wife.

OK, I am.
