In Cedar Hill Cemetery, located in Newark Ohio, there are two reputed haunted spots.
First off is the Baker Mausoleum.
The mausoleum is referred to as the Asylum. Story is you are supposed to put your ear up against the door and you can hear screams and voices. the trips I made to the cemetery, I've tried and never heard anything. I was more worried about tetanus with all the rust on the door.
There is a weeping lady statue in front of the mausoleum. Various family names are carved on the front and sided of it. The first visit there, windows on the sides were busted out. The last time I was there the windows had been replaced
The second haunted spot is for a baby.
The legend on this one is you are supposed to stare at the baby for at least a minute, look away and then look back at the baby. The eyes are supposed to be looking in a different direction. Never had the baby change where it was looking the times I was there. Makes for an interesting story though.
