Being a fan of wandering around cemeteries, sometimes I find something that makes me perk up.
One day while wandering around Union Cemetery (old Union at Olentangy River Road and Ackerman Road), I came across a name I wasn't expecting.
I've never had an interest in the books or the films, but I know about them. Just kinda chuckled about the name. Happened to be at the cemetery with my mom, who was sitting in the car waiting on me. She has never had that much an interest in cemeteries as I do. Got into the car and said she wouldn't believe whose grave I found. Said Harry Potter and she started laughing and said "Oh no, what about the books and movies?' She is like me, knows about the books and movies but really no interest in them. For some reason we were never caught up in Potter fever.
I like to find baseball players graves. I had bought the Baseball Necrology book and was seeing what baseball players were buried in Union. It was about the same time I got a new camera and wanted to get Harry Potter's grave with the slightly better camera. Went to Union's website to look up where he was buried, since I couldn't remember what section he was in.
Lo and behold I saw another Harry Potter listed.
