and yes-nyc was fun, tho very very brief. ate at spotted pig. i went 100% pork. and also at a a little burger spot in the lobby of some hotel on... 57th? it was insane. like going from marble and velvet to... a burger joint. as if you passed through some sort of transmogrifier. the burger was rad.

i was just walking by a cherry blossom tree this morning wishing that i still lived near DC.. but thats probably one of the few reasons id ever miss it.. i used to love to go to kate's joint.. and i guess a handful of other places.. i suppose they were all vegetarian/vegan places though since ive been vegetarian until recently
