Well now that I finally got that shiznit taken care of... I'm here again. Today is today.
So I have now entered into a marriage of sorts.. it's actually pretty cool, I, for the first time ever, am actually sharing a truck! There has already been the ubiquitus bickering over the tune up and the work it needs(we got it for $250 and it's from Minnessotta and therefore held together by rust!), but all in all I highly recomend sharing vehicles... it's just good sense. Of course it helps that we both have moto's and Adrianne also has another car, but in general it's a brilliant concept, especially for trucks as you only truly need it when you need it because it is a truck. Anyway, as much as I miss my old truck... $125 plus another $200 or so to get it drivable sure as hell beats out the $2500-3000 it would take to put a new engine in my Toyota... and it already runs, for now! Shit, for that kind of cash it's practically disposable(which may or may not be the case given that it has over 200,000 miles and in all likelyhood will not pass Smog.
Tax time sucks... and I have the pleasure of having a B-day 2 days after the deadline.. I'm always stressed this time of year(mostly because I'm utterly irresponsible and resentfull enough about taxes that I never get it done until the last day if at all these past few). However, to offset the misery this year, I guess I'm having a party... I suppose it's a b-day party although I hate having to admit it because secretly I'm deeply insecure and issue ridden about b-days as this may truly actually be my FIRST real b-day party ever! I usually just mope about and ignore them. Also, one of my best friends ever has recently moved in to my warehouse space, and so it's also a house warming party for him so that is how I'm able to rationalize the whole affair and not feel like an attention whore. If all goes well, I'll get it together to take care of this tax travesty and then be able to wind down by observing how all of the myriad different types of people I call friends react to each other. This will truly be an interesting scenario, as long as anyone shows up of course.
