Yesterday I went on the National Anti-War march on Washington and it was absolutely incredible. I have heard that approx. 200,000 braved the freezing cold and frigid winds for the 7 hrs of rally and march to let their voices be heard on this MLK weekend.
I met some great people and established an even greater friendship with an ex-coworker that went with me. Incredibly uplifting, our bus left at 6am and came back to nyc at around 11pm.
Today I awoke, sore, still slightly-defrosting and in love with all of the thousands of people who made it out there with signs, voices, and determined smiling faces.
Peace and Love!
