Looking for new apartment is terribly exciting... so much so that I believe I may be jumping the gun a bit! Though we wouldn't need a homestead until August 1st, I can't keep myself from peeking at places online - most of which are opening up June 1st, or are 'available now'. Also, what is with us and moving to places that we've never been before?! Though, I already know that I like Providence. It is much like Boston in its nature, but deliciously cheaper. I am so stoked about getting out of this festering dump. I mean, Houston ain't so bad, but being a northern gal, I just ain't accustomed to it. I need the city to be a walking one, the weather to be frigid, with its people to match. Also, I don't want to be battling roaches the size of my head! Man! I could ride those things!

We're actually going to see U2 tonight. I bought her tix for her b-day. Not my favorite bend, but she really digs 'em and i guess I can put up with Bono's pained vocals and room-filling ego for a couple of hours. We went to our favorite spot in NH last weekend, that was our Anniv. trip, and I'll be cooking dinner for her tomorrow.

Between Cranston and Pawtucket, I would say Pawtucket. It's a little closer to downtown and Brown and it's a little less mini-van-driving-we-moved-to-Cranston-to-get-away-from-the-scary-city-for-the-children kind of place. (But that's just my opinion/observation.)
We also spent a nice little chunk moving our shit from LA to Providence. We used a moving company where you pack your stuff in a partitioned section of a semi. It was a little nerve wracking to not have control over the actually moving of all our worldly possessions, but everything made it safely, so it was worth the money.
