The end is near. I have a presentation to give tomorrow on an archival collection that I completed at x University, more exams, more projects, more papers... always more more more! And, with this blasted holiday almost upon us (I shall play the part of the ethnocentric and assume that everyone knows that 'the' holiday is the dreaded xmas) - travel plans to arrange, presents to not be purchased (for lack of funds), accomodation to be made for my dear children (kitties) and the coming semester to prepare for! Let me think, any more disasters to claim? Ah yes, I left my purse on an island this weekend. No phone, no wallet, no palm pilot, check book, ipod, car keys, etc. until Tuesday at the earliest (the gods shall speed the overnight mail beyond all earthly capacity).
I dream of the sugary sweetness of winter's kiss, and get nothing but the dregs of autumn, during the purgatory that is the waning days of November. *sigh*

Almost December. I love December.
I hope you get your purse back soon. Sorry about your holiday blues. Hope everything works out.
