As a former EA/BioWare employee I watch the value of EA stock like a hawk. I'm sitting on a small bundle of it and when I was first hired it was worth ~$60 a share. These days it's lucky to get within groping distance of $20 (much to the shagrin of many an EA employee).

Moved to Montreal about 10 months ago now, so far it's a pretty spiffy place. I thought the language barrier would be an issue for me, and to be honest it has been a tiny bit alienating, but realistically I've only been in one situation where English was absolutely not an option (and that was exceptionally frustrating.)

Creepy.... it's been just over a year since I last blogged here (I'm terrible at blogging), but a lot has changed!

I'm no longer with BioWare, and without BioWare keeping me in Alberta I'm no longer in Edmonton! Instead, I've relocated to Montreal and I'm working at EIDOS/Square Enix on the new Thief game they're developing It's my first "official" job as a writer

So I've been on "The Old Republic" now for 3 months (almost 4) and we're still at a blindingly fast rate of change occurring - the server I'm doing most of my work on has polished, sparkly content for me to rub against on a daily basis and each day I'm more impressed with what I'm finding to look at.
