I have only had to work the register two times (for brief 5 minute spans) since telling the right people that ringing made me very uncomfortable .. YAY! I have been in the dressing room ever since, and my new domain is awesome 
I am MUCH better at smiling and telling people whether or not their clothes look like they fit .. uh no brainer and people are fairly happy in the dressing room, especially if you help them out ... much more my speed
