However, removing of the tacky tile necessitates removing the sticky adhesive. My gal, wonderful as she is, had a minor brain fart: she dumped the mop bucket full of adhesive gobs into the laundry sink. Adhesive gobs do not go down 1 1/2" drains very well. What started out as clearing the drains pipe-by-pipe has now snowballed into "How the hell do I replace a pipe sticking out the of concrete?!" Observe:
(You see the globs o'smegma on the floor? The pipe sticking out of the floor was packed solid. Due to decades of smegma build-up, the pipe no longer has any usable threads.)
