Some highlights from the weekend:
For the first time in almost 12 years, I received a speeding ticket. While the last one was $56 (four points) for doing 76 in a 65 (US 40 outside Granby), this one is $120 for doing 78 in a 65 (Ohio Turnpike). Such a splendid stop. The trooper was out of the car before I could get my window down. On the upside, keeping my speed around 60-65 gave me spectacular gas mileage.
Since I was an hour late getting to Tikki's house, I missed the carpool to the tubing hill. No problem, I can find it...if I knew where I was going. On a whim, I looked at my atlas. My whim panned out for there was a ski area icon just a ways down Ohio 13. Such a quaint ski area it was too. So quaint I couldn't find anyone I knew. Oh well.
Eventually (10PM), I was reunited with the group. FusionFace gave me a swift punch in the diaphragm for being so late. A couple hours, some food, and a beer or three later, it was off to the titty bar! Being the admitted oddball of the group, I had a Yoohoo when we got there. How often do you see Yoohoo in a bar? Seriously.
Just before closing time Tikki & I went up on stage for our birthday dances. Yay. One of the dancers slapped him not-so-playfully. All I received was a whispered, "Oh, you're so sweet and innocent" because I wasn't making any noise. I would've rather been slapped.
The following day was marked with watching AMC-butchered versions of Death Wish, DW II, and DW 3. The bastards cut the machine gun scene from DW 3 yet left it in the teaser trailers during the commercials!
