Many, many moons ago--back when I finally convinced my parents to get DirecTV--I used to watch Cartoon Network religiously. On that fine channel, they had a show called O Canada!. Some of you may remember it. It was the first show to expose me to animation from the Great White North--namely, "The Big Snit", "The Cat Came Back", "Bob's Birthday", "Log Driver's Waltz", and "Blackfly". That last one had a song which would get stuck in my head for days at a time.

Oh the blackflies, the little blackflies
Always the blackfly, no matter where you go
